Environment & Community
Several member of our management team originate from Eastern Africa and we are naturally very proud of Tanzania, its people and natural resources. We have many friends and local team members working and living there. In our mining operations, we want to have as minimal impact as possible on this beautiful land so that it remains valuable and accessible for generations to come.
Our aims are to:-
- Minimize any change to the land, air, water, people, animals and plants.
- Keep up to date on Tanzanian regulations and legislation and global advice on environmental protection.
- Be proud of our ongoing commitment, reputation and trust in the communities in which we operate.
- Use best-practise to constantly review, plan and evolve our mining exploration projects, ethics and operations.
Our goal is to deliver sustainable returns through leading market positions in the mining resources market and through our people, our assets and business capabilities.
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life and broaden the learning experiences of the Tanzanian community who we encounter. We encourage and aim to achieve best practise in all aspects of our business and we want to promote awareness of our mining operations to the wider Tanzanian community.
TanzOz is proud to share its resources, knowledge and know-how with the local communities in which it operates. We work on a mutual respect for the Tanzanian way of life, its traditions and beliefs and wherever possible, we employ local workers.
